THE PROJECT
The "Community Spaces for Everyone" project aims to make Centre-Sud a model of inclusion and social cohesion. We focus on the role that community buildings play in this transformation.
Why community buildings?
These are vibrant spaces, rich in collective knowledge, resource sharing, and collaborative approaches.
We have identified five key areas to guide our work:
-
inclusive practices
-
universal accessibility
-
socio-ecological transition
-
shared space management and community life
-
funding strategies
We offer an opportunity to bring together tenant organizations and the managers of such spaces.
The context
Demographic Growth in Centre-Sud:
Its population will increase from 45,000 to over 60,000 residents within the next 10 years.
